Tyler J. Beachler, CFA is a Partner and Deputy Chief Investment Strategist with Clearwater Capital Partners.

Tyler is responsible for leading the firm’s portfolio management efforts to provide clients with a comprehensive investment strategy. Tyler is a key member of the firm’s Investment Policy Committee leading the investment research process and implementation of the committee’s investment decisions.

Tyler earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation in 2021 after passing each of the three level exams and meeting the CFA Institute’s professional and ethical requirements. Tyler was able to pass all three exams on his first attempt. In the industry, the CFA® designation is one of the toughest to receive as it involves a rigorous process that spans multiple years covering a vast array of in depth topics applicable for advanced investment analysis and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Clearwater Capital, Tyler worked with Guillaume & Freckman Inc. where he improved organizational efficiency, researched financial investment alternatives, and helped manage the asset allocation disciplines for high net worth clients.

Tyler graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance with a minor in Mathematics. Tyler was recognized as an academic all-American for his success in the classroom and on the soccer field. Tyler’s work ethic and competitiveness led him to be recognized as an NAIA all-American, conference player of the year, and being featured on ESPN’s top plays #2.

 Tyler participated in the management of Taylor's Student Endowment Fund. Taylor University’s Endowment Fund has a total value of approximately $70 million. Tyler’s responsibilities include researching and reporting on domestic and international equities, as well as, summary analysis for the Student Endowment Fund.
